Description

100% Gewurtzraminer from 25 year old vines planted on Muschelkalk, (literally mussel-chalk, a type off chalky limestone. The grapes were destemmed, then macerated on the skins for around 8 days before pressing off. The juice was then aged in large Alsatian foundre for 6 months before bottling without additions.
