Agata is a straw yellow in colour, with luminous golden highlights. Initially it offers austere hints of stone and white rock, but then it reveals itself gradually, like a precious stone, emanating aromatic sensations of herbs and sweeter ones of little wildflowers and Golden Delicious apples. It is forthright on the palate, where the tangy, citrusy perceptions mingle to yield a corroborating, dynamic flavour in which notes of sage and fleshy yellow apples re-emerge.
